Hi Everyone...
The next week is going to be insane. Life is continuing to throw curve balls. (deep inhale and Exhale)
A sneak peak at my week includes:
Friday- Last min gift shopping for my parents, no, they don't read my blog unless I ask.
Saturday
Part 1- Deaf Christmas Service in Godfrey at 1:30. I am excited to meet more Deaf people and see my friend K. She is also a Sign Language Interpreter Student.
Part 2- A Blue Christmas Service is being offered in New Baden at the United Methodist Church at 7pm. I am, for lack of better term, the Liturgist. This means I am up front. This is the first time we are doing this event. The stage manager in me is excited and anxious.
It is an hour drive from Godfrey to home SO....this also means I must leave Godfrey by 4:15 at the latest! Then, I can change into appropriate attire. (which I still need to pick out. I don't want to be too gloomy, but then again, not too chipper either!)
Sunday - is busy! This week is march to the manger at church, which I am facilitating. I am a bit nervous because my wise men were not there to practice on Sunday! What is march to the manger? Oh, its when people bring offerings to the "manger" to support mission work .
Also- Its my favorite Sunday of the month, the 3rd. I get to go see all my friends at the assisted living facility and do communion and fellowship with them. They have the most awesome stories to tell.
Monday- is empty for NOW... that will change
Tuesday- the Church has Christmas caroling, I am undecided if I will attend.
Wednesday is CHRISTMAS EVE! - Its always busy. AND ! I am going to 2 services. One to "work" the Second is to "worship". One is at 7pm the other is at 11:00pm.
Thursday is Christmas- Need I say more?
