Saturday Fun

I drove to St Louis today. Without directions and ... I did not get lost.

We,( Mom, hubs and Me,) went to the St Louis Botanical Garden. It's Amazing!

God is good, He provided a great parking spot for me :) And...a complete stranger walked up to us and  gave us her extra tickets while we were in line.(thank YOU!) The weather was perfect,
I got tons of Vitamin D3.

There was plenty of space to walk around even though it was busy. There is so much to see there. We did not see it all today but, we will be back. The garden is working on redoing their roses, I will be excited to see those done.

The Victorian House Garden is incredible, but one of my favorite displays was called a "pincushion garden". They are cool, and environmentally friendly. I hope my pictures turn out.

The Japanese Garden was amazing. The people watching was pretty entertaining as well. The Koi fish bridge was compared to piranhas feeding by someone I love, when asked if that referred to the fish or people, the response was BOTH.

However, everyone we met today was polite and very helpful.

Sorry Denver, but, St Louis has you beat big time comparing the botanical gardens of each city. Next time I visit the Garden in STL, I am bringing a better camera, my phone just does not capture the wonder of all the plant life.
